Monthly meetings of the Parish Council and Planning Committee are normally held on a Monday starting at 7.30 pm. The meeting agendas are made available on this website.
Great Missenden meetings are held in the Committee Room in the Memorial Centre, Link Road or in the adjacent Parish Office. Prestwood meetings are held in the Community Centre on the Common in Nairdwood Lane.
The Annual Parish meeting is in May when the Council is required to elect a chair, vice chair and agree membership of its committees for the next 12 months.
All these meetings are open to the Public. Anyone is welcome to attend and raise parish related questions during the Public Forum before the start of the meetings. Individuals are also welcome to sit in on any of the formal meetings but may not participate in/contribute to the meeting.
** Please note that due to the legal requirement for parish councils to return to face-to-face meetings, a risk assessment has been carried out of the Memorial Centre, and all required steps taken to ensure that these meetings can be carried out safely for all those attending. The parish council meeting will be held in the Main Hall for the May meeting. A copy of the risk assessment can be found here. **
But if you have any problems which you think the Parish Council can help with, don’t wait for a meeting – talk to one of the councillors, phone the parish clerk or get in touch using the Contact Form.
