Walking in Great Missenden Parish

Whether you live locally or are considering a ramble in the Parish of Great Missenden, you have chosen the most beautiful countryside with a wealth of breath-taking views accessed by a network of public footpaths and bridleways.

Here are some walks that have been put together for you to enjoy.

Please though leave the countryside how you found it – flowers and plants should be left growing for others to enjoy and animals/birds should not be disturbed or pursued. Please do not leave litter and do observe the countryside law with regard to fire.

Dogs should be kept under close control and please keep your dogs on a lead where animals are grazing to avoid unnecessary stress. Poo should be taken away and put in a dog waste bin.

As a back-up it is always a good idea to take an Ordinance Survey Map of the area and a charged up mobile phone.

10 walks through the local parish have been compiled by Christine Baxter and Valerie Marshall.
