The Community Infrastructure Levy (CIL) is a charge levied by Bucks Council on new development in the area. Any development eligible for this levy within Great Missenden Parish boundary pays this charge to Bucks Council. Bucks Council is required to pass on 15% of this levy on local developments to the parish council.
The parish council much use this CIL money by funding the provision, improvement, replacement, operation or maintenance of infrastructure; or anything else that is concerned with addressing the demands that development places on the area.
The parish council must annually report to Bucks Council on any CIL monies that have been spent and also what remains to be spent. Please see copies of these reports below.
